Bunny creation process

Started using Zbrush as a concepting tool cor characters today
This is going to be a rabbit or family of rabbits

I started with the head last semester as part of a cane.

Then i started to create the body separate from the head because i didnt want it to lose any detail from dynamesh.
When i combined the two i had a cutish look when it comes to the paws how round they are and tried to keep it looking like my drawing.
Modified him a little to give him more of a male look
Same with the woman i shortened her and puffed out her chest a little with a thinner waist and bigger hips. since the guy is in a dream world they have human characteristics.
This one was pretty much just for fun wanted to just ad crazy stuff to him to see what it would look like.
Decided to try and make a 5th body type that had more influence from "Rise of the Guardians" but still kept they look i wanted.
Decided to create a taller version of him. really like these two alot more than the earlier ones.
Here's 2 of their wireframes. they all have them like this from zremesher.

Derek showed me a really cool rabbit that had feathers all over him and had winged ears so i wanted to add it as a body type.

The first week of the semester Nick had us go in Zbrush and learn how to pose characters with the transpose tool and then go in Maya and put the character in a pose, with it rigged and skinned, then send it back to Zbrush to have the high poly sculpt be posed.

This is him with the transpose in zbrush

Then rendered out and put it in a picture. Nick didnt ask us to put it in a picture but i felt it would make it pop a little more.

Here he is in Maya Rigged, Skinned and posed.

This was actually fun to do and enjoyed finding an environment that he could fit into.
